Joe Neary


Joe sang with various local groups such as the Valiants, the Four Surfmen up North and the Paramounts In Calif. Joined local Fla. group Reunion as their First Tenor in 1980. Had the honor of being asked by Dion to do some work  for him which lead to becoming the First Tenor for Dion's tour during 1997-1998 and worked on Dion's "Deja Nu" CD featuring the hit song, "Shu Bop (The Lost Track)".

Who is Joe Neary?

Joe is a Libra, born October 7 in Brooklyn, New  York.  He attended Meadow Drive School in Albertson, NY and Mineola Junior and Senior High School in Mineola, NY

 Joe started his singing career on Long Island in 1961. He moved to Florida in 1968 after the Navy where he spent two tours of duty in Viet Nam area.  He sang with the Paramounts in Long Beach, CA, a group that consisted of four guys from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Joe sang first tenor for South Florida's group Reunion, also Bits and Pieces.

Joe sang first tenor as backup singer for Dion's 1997-1998 tour and can be heard on the Dions CD, Deja Nu, featuring the hit song “Shu Bop” (The Lost Track).  The song can also be found on Dions latest CD, New Masters.


Joe's hobbies are Music, and Music. He has two dogs: Angel, a 75 lb yellow (almost light tan) Labrador Retriever and
Rocky a 90 lb Golden Retriever.

Joe works in the Business Telephone industry as a Technician.
