GEORGE GALFO is a Sagittarius, born in December, in Brooklyn, New York. George started his career in the entertainment industry as a member of the Overons in 1958, which later became known as The Mystics. An original founding MYSTIC member, he sang second tenor. He has appeared with the Mystics on the Clay Cole Show, American Bandstand, Alan Freed's "Big Beat Show" television show, Jim Gallant's Bandstand in CT., Alan Freed Stage Show at the Brooklyn Fox, went on a Cavalcade Of Stars tour run by the General Artists Corporation, & Palisades Park appearances hosted by Cousin Brucie Morrow, backed up Connie Francis on her 1959 release "Tommy" & for other artists who were under the Laurie umbrella.
George
formeraly headed up his own MYSTICAL (George Galfo’s MYSTICS) group from
2002-2011 before reuniting with his Uncle, Phil Cracolici – Original Lead
Singer & now performing as “The MYSTICS! George can be heard on all
the MYSTICS original recordings
while contracted
to
the Laurie Label & The Mystics
demo’s,
which some remain un released.
George founded George Galfo’s Mystics in 2002
and they remained actively working thru 2011, until Phil joined forces with
George reforming the Mystics in January 2011.
